The PRYME radios, the GPS Tracking Terminal, the FAQ

1.How to make the common analog radios with GPS network positioning function?
Both the GPS smic and the GPS box have built-in GPS receiver modules with high sensitivity, by using the baseband data transmission module, the GPS information and other data information received by the positioning terminal can be transmitted to each other through the normal communication frequency band of the radios. The user can realize the central dispatch to monitor the position and status of the whole network interphone user, in addition, each GPSMIC or GPSBOX terminal can be used as the decoder of the monitoring and scheduling center to connect with the mobile computer installed with the monitoring platform for mobile monitoring and scheduling.

2.How is a PRYME Radio location terminal installed on a radios or on a vehicle platform?
There is a special QD interface (fast connection interface) in the host of the GPSMIC radio positioning terminal. The users only need to configure the corresponding QD connector according to their own radio model when they choose, the QD connector can be directly installed on the microphone interface of the corresponding radios. If the user changes the radios or other types of radios, he only needs to change the QD connector to re-install the GPSMIC positioning terminal. The platform positioning terminal of the Grammy GPSBOX is equipped with the platform connecting interface. Through our custom-made special communication cable, we can connect with the platform of the corresponding brand. After connecting, the GPSBOX does not need to be powered alone, as long as the vehicle boot GPSBOX also boot start positioning and data transmission.

3.GPSMIC can be equipped with the list of models, especially domestic machines, low-end machines can be equipped with it?
What are the basic requirements for radios: is the interface only accessible so that they can be used together? Users can refer to the technology introduction page of our primetime positioning terminal, with a detailed list of interface configuration. We have the special interface of Helenda for home-made machines, and other home-made machines can refer to the type of interface, if it is a K port or the same as other professional machine interface definition can be used QD connector to complete the installation, if the interface is special please contact the sales manager for your custom.

4.How long can GPSMIC work on a full charge?
The GPS smic on a full charge provides more than 14 hours of standard working time

5. Can the GPSMIC continue to work when the power is off?
The GPSMIC can continue to talk without power, but it can not GPS.

6.What is the orange button on the GPSMIC for?
The orange-red button on the GPSMIC is used for emergency alarm. When the pilot is in an emergency, he only has to press the emergency button for 3 seconds to continuously send an alarm signal to the center of the system, GPSMIC will send the location information of the equipment to the system center at the same time every time the alarm signal is sent.

7.Do your walkie-talkies work on different frequencies and can you use your walkie-talkies to locate devices?
Our radios positioning equipment is divided into analog and digital radios positioning terminals, GPSMIC/GPSBOX positioning terminal can receive and transmit GPS information as long as the radios can talk to each other clearly, v-frequency, u-frequency, 350 alarm frequency and other commonly used analog frequencies can be tested to work properly. For digital walkie-talkies GM series digital walkie-talkies positioning terminal need to see your radios brand, our GM series digital walkie-talkie location terminal is suitable for Jianwu based on FLEETSYNC protocol NEXEDGE series of digital radios.

8.What satellite positioning technology does GPSMIC use?
All of our walkie-talkies use GPS satellites from the United States for their location data.

9.GPS coverage?
As long as the positioning terminal can receive satellite positioning data can achieve the GPS positioning of walkie-talkies, the general requirements of the positioning terminal can see the satellite environment without shielding.

10.Is there a way to locate walkie-talkies when they can't talk to each other?
Only when the radios can talk normally can the GPS positioning of the radios be realized.

11.How many meters is the positioning accuracy of GPSMIC?
General positioning accuracy within 10 meters

12.How long does it take for the GPS smic location information to return?
Within 2 seconds of releasing the PTT key

13.GPSMIC boot red light is what meaning? How does the indicator indicate that it is located?
A red light indicates that the GPSMIC is out of power, and a red-green orange light indicates that it is in position.

14.Can the GPSMIC locate it indoors?
It is very difficult to locate indoors. Indoors, it can locate in the place where the satellite signal can be received, such as the window. The equipment is mainly suitable for outdoor environment.

15.Does the GPS location system need to pay a traffic fee or a usage fee?
No need. Our GPS terminals only need to use the existing radio frequency band and network can be the location information back to the system center, without the help of operators base station. So there is no cost to use it.

16. GPSMIC radios location terminal report location information return way what is there?
1) the system center sends out the request, GPSMIC automatically transmits the return location information.

2) when the user presses the PTT of the interphone, the position information can be returned. The interval of return can be set to avoid too frequent return of the position information.

3) timing return mode, set fixed interval time to return location information automatically to the location terminal.

4) mobile distance return mode, when the user's mobile distance and the last return position reach a certain distance, GPSMIC automatically return location information.

5) the limited-range return model, which automatically transmits location information back to the system center when the user exceeds a certain distance from a fixed location.

6) emergency return mode. The user presses the emergency rescue button on the GPSMIC to activate the emergency mode. The GPSMIC will continuously and regularly transmit the warning and location information to the system center.

17. How many views can map information system software provide?
Checkpoint is based on data from Google Maps. It offers map views, satellite photo views, topographical and topographical views, provide more complete information assistance for customer applications.

18.How many radios can set up a network?
At least 2 radios can be set up network. One radios equipped with a PRYME GPS terminal is used as a decoder in the center, and the other radios equipped with a PRYME GPS terminal is located as a field unit.
